If you are on your ascension journey you must have heard about ‘activations’. Activations are light codes that are coming into the planet and into your energy field. They are essentially helping us reach higher consciousness and clear out distortions that we have been programmed with or trauma that we encountered in this life and other lifetimes. Activations help our consciousness level up into their next evolution cycle or timeline shift. We are basically building our light body through these activations.

If you are sensitive enough and if you are clearly on your ascension journey, you may have noticed that these activations take place every month. There is not really a set time when these activations happen but they occur pretty much every month now. We may not even notice anything and still receive the upgrade in the form of having new ideas, inspiration, clarity and realizations. And not everybody receives the same upgrades at the same time, which is why some people don’t notice anything at all.

But there are times when these activations are really intense and they take a lot of energy for the body to process all this new information. And light codes are pockets of information for you body to integrate.

How To Prepare For Activations?

So, what can you do to prepare for activations and what can you do during activations? How can you support yourself through it in the best way possible?

  1. In these times of activations or upgrades it’s essential to listen to your body. Your body is your vehicle through this ascension and a very important part of your ascension journey. And it sounds easy ‘listen to your body’ but a strong mind can overrule the body, if we let it. This may cause us to experience heavier ascension symptoms and we suffer more than necessary, because we aren’t listening to our bodies needs and we are crossing our boundaries. You can ask your body as often as you like: what do you need right now? Or, is this the time to get this done?

  1. Of course, overall wellbeing and healthy routines will always serve you in life. A healthy lifestyle is a must if we want to be healthy and happy. But some ways to support your physical body during activations is by simply massaging your feet, which will upgrade all the organs in your body, or get a gentle full body massage. It’s also great to use a dry brush during activations that stimulate blood flow, the lymphatic system and it works as a detox as well. This is a great way to move the energy in your body (besides movement). And take a salt bath which can do wonders for your body, especially during this time.

  1. You also want to eat clean and drink lots of water! Sometimes we need more food and sometimes we need a lot less food during these activations. But we want to eat plant-based foods that are alive. And taking in electrolytes by drinking coconut water or fresh squeezed lemon on lime in water, is another great way to support your body during this time.

  1. Clear trauma and get centered by having your toolbox of resources at hand. This may be meditating, doing breathing exercises, somatic exercises, processing emotions (get my free guide here), moving your body (gentle yoga stretches or taking walks in nature), EFT, journaling etc. Whatever works for you to clear out the heaviness you may be feeling. And sometimes we only need to rest, let it all be and let it pass. Knowing that energetically a lot is happening and changing, but we may not be aware of it consciously.

  1. One of the best things you can do during activations is to rest and live in the moment. Giving your body no stimuli and just resting for hours if you can, will be very beneficial to support the body during activations. Don’t take on extra things. And if possible take a day off when you know activations are happening or is going to happen on a specific day. Overall be gentle with yourself and it’s not the time to be social but instead be in your own energy (hermit-mode).

These are just a few things that can help you along the ride and as always listen to what you need in the moment. Only you know what’s best for you.
